Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Tenerife Next Academy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and measurement technologies on https://www.tenerifenextacademy.com (the “Site”).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time.

2. Our current use of cookies

The Site does not currently use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell visitor data.

Hosting and security systems may process limited technical information needed to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, and keep it available. This does not involve advertising cookies.

3. Cookieless analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and real-world performance. These tools are configured as privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement and help us see which pages are useful, whether the Site loads quickly, and whether important actions such as a contact form submission are completed.

We do not send names, email addresses, message content, or other contact-form details to analytics.

3a. Local storage we use

The Site stores two small values in your browser's local storage. Neither is a tracking cookie and neither is sent to us or to third parties:

  • tna-lang: remembers the language (English/Spanish) you chose. Kept until you clear your browser data.
  • tna-consent-google-maps: remembers whether you accepted loading the embedded Google Map. Kept until you clear your browser data.

Both are exempt from consent requirements because they only store a choice you made yourself.

3b. Embedded Google Map

The "Tenerife" page includes a Google Maps embed. It does not load automatically: the map only loads after you click to accept it. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies and process your IP address under Google's privacy policy, including transfers outside the EU. If you do not accept, the page works normally without the map.

To withdraw this choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings; the map will ask for consent again on your next visit.

4. Why there is no cookie banner

Under the AEPD cookies guidance and the ePrivacy rules, consent banners are required for non-exempt cookies (advertising, cookie-based analytics, social tracking). This Site uses none of those: analytics are cookieless, and the only third-party content that sets cookies (the Google Map) asks for your consent right where it appears. That is why you do not see a site-wide banner.

4a. Future optional cookies

If we add optional analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or social media cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent before those cookies are activated where required by law.

5. Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy or security settings. Because the Site currently avoids optional cookies, refusing cookies should not prevent you from reading its content or contacting TNA.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top.

7. Contact
